January 16, 2025A comprehensive Preventive Medical Screening cum Eye Screening Camp was successfully organized at JKPCC(Jammu And Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation), Near Sher Gari, Srinagar by the Kashmiri American Society of Healthcare, Medical Education & Research (KASHMER) & Aechen hinz raech in collaboration with the Help Poor Voluntary Trust (HPVT).During the camp, nearly 30 participented underwent screenings for non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes, hypertension, anemia, and obesity, while 44 individuals were screened for various eye conditions, including refractive errors, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy.In addition to the screenings, thorough education was provided to all attendees regarding NCD prevention, lifestyle modifications, and the importance of eye care.
