The biggest challenge faced by the hospitals in pandemic, is the unnecessary retention of covid patients because of non avalibilty of domiciliary oxygen.
This not only over burdens the hospital but also hampers in creating room for new patients.
Today, 6 patients were discharged from various hospitals and we provided them with oxygen support ( 4 concentrates, 1 bulk cylinder and 2 medium cylinders) so as to create vacancies for other emergency covid cases.
High time that every individual identifies with the gray area in the healthcare system in Kashmir and tries to contribute at an individual capacity.
